On today’s podcast, I discuss personal and professional growth and development. I touch on areas such as applications/programs available for use in both your personal and professional life as well as courses that are available and why they may be helpful.

I answer a listeners question about use of cell phones in hospital facilities.

In the news today:

I discuss an article from Medline Plus on a new blood thinner that may replace coumadin.

I also talk about an FDA warning about the use of Plavix and other, specific medications. This is from an article on WebMD.

Nest, I discuss an article from Emergency Medical News on the use of Narcan and how it has changed over the years.

And lastly, I discuss an article again from Emergency Medical News on the use of intravenous lipids for treating overdoes. This is something up and coming that we may see catch on in ED’s nationwide.

And here it is………the final podcast of the year!! Enjoy and I’ll see you in the new year!!! Merry Christmas!!
