US government to outspend private sector for healthcare by 2012

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has determined that the US government will spend more than the private sector on financing health care in the US by the year 2012. “The trend is expected to continue, with state, local and federal governments picking up a combined 52 percent of the nation’s health tab by 2019″ according to the report.
